BGK Solutions was founded to support organizations doing meaningful work. After years of working for nonprofits, small businesses, and faith-based organizations, our owners saw a common challenge: strong missions paired with limited systems, stretched teams, and unclear strategy. BGK was created to meet that gap with care, rigor, and honesty.

We are a Black-owned consulting firm partnering with mission-driven organizations across the U.S. to strengthen the foundations that sustain impact. Our work spans finance and lending, marketing and communications, and operations because we believe real growth requires alignment across the whole organization, not quick fixes in isolation.

Belinda King

Partner, Finance and Lending

Belinda King is a Partner at BGK Solutions, where she leads the firm's Finance and Lending practice. With more than two decades of experience across banking, financial management, and nonprofit finance, Belinda helps mission-driven organizations build strong financial systems that support stability, growth, and long-term impact.

Belinda's background spans commercial banking, small business lending, and executive financial leadership. She has advised nonprofits, churches, and small businesses on budgeting, cash flow forecasting, financial analysis, and lender preparation, bringing clarity to complex financial decisions. Known for her steady, analytical approach, Belinda excels at translating financial data into actionable insights leaders can trust.

Prior to BGK, Belinda held senior roles within financial institutions and nonprofit organizations, including serving as President and CEO of a historic church extension fund and as a relationship manager supporting small businesses with revenues exceeding $250 million. Her experience on both sides of the table, as a lender and as an organizational leader, allows her to guide clients with a practical, well-rounded perspective.

Belinda holds an MBA in Accounting and believes financial strength is not just about compliance or capital, but about equipping organizations to steward resources wisely and pursue their mission with confidence.

Brittany King

Partner, Marketing and Communications

Brittany King is a Partner at BGK Solutions, where she leads the firm's Marketing and Communications work. A journalist by training and a strategist by practice, Brittany helps mission-driven organizations clarify their voice, strengthen their messaging, and communicate with purpose across platforms.

Her background spans journalism, copywriting, strategic communications, and DEI-informed marketing, with experience supporting nonprofits, higher education institutions, social impact organizations, and mission-aligned businesses. Brittany has created content for national publications, led editorial and social media strategies for growing organizations, and partnered with leadership teams to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives.

Brittany's approach is grounded in storytelling and guided by strategy. She brings a thoughtful, audience-centered lens to her work, balancing creativity with structure, and vision with execution. Clients value her ability to ask the right questions, surface what matters most, and shape messages that resonate without losing integrity.

At BGK, Brittany partners closely with clients to ensure their communications reflect who they are, what they stand for, and where they're going. She believes strong storytelling is not about saying more, but about saying the right thing clearly, consistently, and with care.

Rod King

Founding Partner, Operations

Rod King is the Founding Partner at BGK Solutions, where he leads the firm's Operations and Strategy work. He founded BGK in 2017 after a career transition prompted him to lean into his entrepreneurial instincts, professional network, and experience in healthcare operations. What began as a small consultancy practice has since grown into a firm with three core areas of expertise, serving mission-driven organizations across sectors.

Rod brings extensive experience in healthcare, government services, and complex operational environments. His background includes leading large teams, managing provider enrollment and outreach, overseeing financial and operational performance, and building systems that support scale and accountability. Across roles, he has been known as a steady, collaborative leader who brings clarity to complexity and momentum to execution.

At BGK, Rod partners with clients to strengthen internal operations, align strategy with execution, and build structures that support sustainable growth. He is especially skilled at helping organizations move from vision to action, ensuring that systems, people, and processes are working together effectively.

Rod holds an MBA in Business Administration and believes strong operations are not about rigidity, but about creating the conditions for people and organizations to do their best work. His approach is practical, relational, and grounded in long-term thinking.
